Introducing Spril
A place to put down your notes, voice notes and scans, and find them again. All of it happens on your iPhone.
By The Spril team · 2 min read
Most of what we want to remember turns up at a bad moment. An idea on a walk, a name in a meeting, a page of a book worth keeping. We write it down somewhere, and later we can't find it, or can't remember why it mattered.
Spril is made for that gap. You write a note, speak a voice note or scan a page, and Spril does the rest: it gives the note a title, files it under a subject, and brings it back when it's useful.
What Spril does
- It files your notes. Spril sorts what you write into subjects, with topics beneath them. Move a note yourself and Spril learns from it.
- It listens. A voice note becomes text on your iPhone, and the tasks you mention come back as suggestions.
- It answers. Ask Talk about something you wrote, and it answers from your notes and shows the notes it used.
- It reads with you. Reads brings articles from publications our editors choose, and learns from what you finish.
- It keeps an eye on your health. With Apple Health connected, Spril compares your sleep, steps and heart with your own baseline, never with anyone else's.
Where it runs
Every model Spril uses runs on your iPhone. Nothing you write is sent to a server to be understood, and Talk answers just as well on a plane. We explain that choice in Why Spril thinks on your iPhone.
What it leaves out
Spril doesn't count streaks or hand out badges, and it isn't built to keep you scrolling. It shows what needs you today, and when nothing does, it says so.
Spril is coming to the App Store. Leave your email on the front page and we'll write once, when it's out.
