Using Spril

Spril is licensed to you under Apple's Standard License Agreement for apps, and the terms below add to it.

Reading your scans

Spril reads the pages you scan on your iPhone with Indra OCR, a model made by Datalab. Datalab licenses it under the AI Pubs Open RAIL-M License (Modified), a copy of which comes with the model, and its terms cover the text it reads as well.

By using it, you agree not to use it, or the text it reads: in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights; for any purpose if you, your employer or a company you're part of earned more than $20 million last year or has raised more than $20 million, unless you use it only for yourself or for research; or for any purpose if you, your employer or a company you're part of offers a product or service that competes with Datalab's.
