The download is coming soon
How it works
- Open Spril Notes Exporter and choose Find my notesYour Mac asks whether the exporter may control Notes. Allow it, so it can read your notes
- Choose your folders and exportEvery folder is chosen to start with. Thousands of notes take a few minutes
- Save the file and send it to your iPhoneAirDrop it, or save it to iCloud Drive
- In Spril, open Settings and tap Import from Apple NotesYour notes arrive with their original dates, and ones already in Spril are left alone
What it asks for
- Permission to control NotesmacOS asks once. The exporter reads your notes through Notes itself and changes nothing there
- Full Disk Access, for your pinsOnly if you want them. Notes keeps which notes are pinned in its own files, which macOS opens only to apps you allow in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Full Disk Access. Without it, your notes come over unpinned
What stays behind
- Locked notesNotes won't share a locked note without its password, and the exporter never asks for one
- Recently DeletedNotes on their way out stay out
